model, large cargo capacity, comfortable
interior, carlike handling, optional side
curtain airbags.

Small gas tank size limits cruising range,
so-so interior materials quality.

The Escape has a very good safety record.
It received five stars for the driver in
frontal impacts and four stars for the front
passenger.,In side-impact crash tests, the
Escape received five stars for both front-
