Georgia was the thirteenth colony, and the fourth state of the United States. Georgia is one of the most rapidly growing states in the country. Its capital, Atlanta, has long been a major railroad hub, in addition to being a major airport hub now as well. Several highways and short line railroads also navigate the state. Georgia is the largest state east of the Mississippi River.

Georgia Auto Trivia

The Cherokee Trading Path appeared in writing as early as 1731 and became the Georgia Highway in 1803. In 1817 it became known as The Federal Highway after Andrew Jackson and his team improved the road in the northwest part of the state.
